Consists of two volumes of engravings. The first volume is devoted to British prints, while the second features American engravings. Mastheads, medallions, men in armor, family crests, historical figures, stoves, book title pages, and scenes from London and the English countryside are depicted. Also included are reproductions of paintings. One series was published by T. Hurst & Co. and another by Robert Jennings. Many of the engravings were done by Charles Heath and Charles Roth.
